Hi guys!
I have only been biking for a few weeks and bought a 1993 Trophy 900 as my first bike.
My trophy has now decided that it does not want to start any more! I tried starting it with a booster pack but still nothing, when I press the starter button I get one click from the relay but starter motor does not kick in. I by passed the relay tried to start the bike but no luck, she is starting from a rolling start so I am asuming that there is a fault with the starter motor.
Does the 900 Trophy use the same starter motor as a 1992 or 1994 1200 Trophy as there seems to be quite a few of these around but not many for the 900.
Any suggestions or help would be great!

Have you tried simple things like checking grounds and the kickstand safety switch?

I did try all those things as I stripped the bike down, I initially thought it was a problem with the side stand switch playing up but i have tested that and pretty much anything else my limited knowledge can think of, being my first bike its all a learning process! Give me a car engine anytime!
I really do think its the motor that has packed up, looking around for spares the dealer parts are way too over priced and there don't seem to be any used spares for the 900 out there.

Firstly, welcome to the fold!

Sorry to hear your tale of woe, but I suggest you check out eBay for spares. I have been lucky to buy quite a lot from the "Triumph Trophy" listings, all at reasonable prices. The best was a complete headlamp unit for £50 delivered... Much more attractive than the £136+VAT the dealer wanted for the replacement lens alone!

Ebay also has listings from several specialist bike breakers who would respond to a 'phone call.
