I need to replace the seals on the forks, I have never really worked on a bike before. How do you remove the front wheel and then the forks.

Jack front tire off ground. I use a floor jack with a block of wood to get front tire off of the ground.
Remove forward fender.
Remove calipers NO NOT APPLY FRONT BRAKES.
Loosen pinch bolts (4) that face forward below the axle.
Insert phillips screw driver in 1/4 inch hole in axle and remove nut.
Slide axle out, noting position of spacer and speedo drive.
Remove back half of fender and clear any other items that might attached to forks.
Pay attention to how high your forks are above the triple trees.
Loosen pinch bolts on triple trees.
Apply WD-40 on forks between triple trees and slide forks down.
