trophy seat?????

Dumb question,I know.......I love my '95 Trophy but my 78" frame is a bit cramped on longer journeys, I've convinced myself there is no good way (rear sets) to move the pegs. I'm curious about a taller seat maybe even a flatter one as to move easier? Any comments appreciated thanx Dave

The Corbin is about 1" longer and I think it is flatter, at least I don't slide into the back of the tank as I brake, pillon is correspondingly smaller. I bought one used (read broken in) on ebay and I like it better than stock. Seems like just as many find them too hard and hate them.

Corbin Seats

Rode up to Hollister yesterday and picked up a new Corbin; the key to their saddles is that they are all custom made. If their "standard" seat available from their website is not to your liking (and I agree that the standard form would be about 1" lower, which is what I wanted) they can add foam anywhere you want it, including making it taller. If getting to Hollister (near San Jose) to get one custom fit is not in the cards for you - credit cards that is - get in touch with them on their website and let them know what you want. My whole experience there yesterday just was thoroughly impressive, and my ride down to LA was a LOT more comfortable than the ride up. The only seat configuration available is called a Canyon Dual Sport, but if you want to effectively do away with the aft seating area and move the driver's seat further back, they can do that too; and like the ride-in service I took advantage of, the price doesn't change: $329
Good luck. Q

I suggest find someone local to do it. I shipped mine to Rick Maier and did not get the results I was looking for. I know I could of shipped it back to him for adjustments, but the down time would of killed me. It was a unpleasant experience.
A local upholstery guy, who also rides, did my seat and got it right the first time.

I have an extra Corbin seat I'll sell you reasonable that came with my Trophy. It just doesn't fit my small frame, and I found a used seat off a wrecked Trophy which fits me much better. PM me and I'll give you the details and photos.
