exhaust can identification help

I'm need need of the experts on this site. I found these on ebay. The store says "Trophy 900cc exhaust", but they look like some aftermarket system:

I think these are D&D's. I might need to pick these up only $99!

They Sure Are!

These are definitely D&Ds... the big D&D label on them and the narrative saying "Big Texas sound" sort of helped my investigation!

They ain't going for no $99 dollars though!

They are D&Ds, or should I say "it"? There is only one can so the quest will have to continue!

If you look at the videos there are 2 cans, I wonder why they only show 1 can in the pictures. I have a '96 1200, apparently the 900 and 1200 cans are different part numbers, I found 938-13A for the 1200 and 938-13A for the 900. I guess I can't use the 900 cans on my 1200.

In reading the ad text it states there is only one muffler offered. And before you buy any D&D's find someone who has them and give a listen. You ain't gonna make nice with folks that live around you. I had some and they are painfully loud.

I am looking for louder pipes, but I have not heard the D&D cans, they might be too loud. I have drilled the 6 1/4" holes in the stock can, this didn't really add any sound. I guess I need to try drilling out the internal baffle. Does anyone have the Ixil exhaust cans?

I drilled the 6 1/4" holes first also. Wasn't too excited about the sound, so I went all the way and drilled the baffles - that did it for me. My 900 actually sounded good at idle.

I went ahead and bought the 7/8" inch hole saw and a 12" extension from Home Depot and drilled out the baffles. Sound much better now. Still not noticeable while riding above 15 mph, but sounds nice at low speeds.
