Looking for suggestions for a replacement of a cross-threaded fork top bolt for my '96 Trophy 1200 (43mm forks). Not very many bike wreckers in the Vancouver, Canada area. OEM is $$$ & 10 day wait. Anyone know if a another brand of bikes might have used the same forks/bolt?

Can you go buy a Tap and clean the threads? Got to be cheaper that any other option.

Do you need the triple tree or just the top nut? I've got a complete triple off of a 99 if the forks are the same mm?
