Mechanic tore down the engine today and called me. Somehow the exhaust cam quit oiling and galled to the head and snapped in half.
I either need a salvage engine or the parts to fix this one. As far as we know, the bottom of the engine is OK. If anyone knows of any of these parts or a source, please let me know. I believe that the engines from '96 or '97 up to 2002 use all these same parts.
This is for my brother's '99 1200 Trophy.
