Few quick questions!

Hey all,
As you will be able to tell I'm a noob with triumphs but i have to get my bike inspected and i need to fix a few things before hand and I'm hoping to get some advise from you guys so it doesnt take me all day to figure out how to do.

First- replacing the headlights. My high beams do not work im guessing its the lights themselves and i figured i'd give that a shot. Any easy ways to get them out without taking off all the fairings.

Second- Left blinker is broken a little but i ordered a new one to make sure it passes and to make the bike look ship shape. Again do you have to take all the fairings off for this or is their an easy way?

Lastly- what is behind the license plate holder on the back of the bike. I believe that it is a automatic chain oiler. is that true. If so the bottom of the cylinder is full of junk is there a way to clean it out. And what type of chain oil would you recommend...

Told you a NOOB here but willing to learn, im loving the bike can wait to put some real miles on it. done 300 last week alone...Thanks for the help.

The headlights may be the high beam relay.........mine were. Pull the throttle side bulb and check the connector with a probe light. According to my dealer, the high beam relay is mounded upside down and water can get into it. I say pull the r.h. bulb because it's easier than the l.h. one. I replied to your p.m. today, as well. The Trophy doesn't come with an automatic chain oiler, but someone may have put one on......check for a manufacturer's name on it.

From the vast wasteland of the "village idiot's" mind: Jim

OOPS!! In my previous post, I said to pull the r.h. headlight bulb...don't!! Just pull the socket off the back of the bulb so you can test it with a probe light. You'll find out that you need to be a bit of a contortionist just to do that bit.

Just another of the perils of a full-faired bike: Jim
