Any body know if the idle screw needs to be set in a different position if the engine is run with the fuel tap set to prime instead of normal for a long time? I am assuming that it will need to be if the carbs have to work less hard to get the fuel through and not if there is no difference. (trophy 900)

There is no difference. The vacuum draw on the engine is virtually the same, and the fuel feed is identical. It's all gravity fed thru the same line.
