Late model Trophy exhaust cans

Sorry to bring it up yet again, but I'm hitting nothing but dead-ends on finding some slip-on exhaust for my 2002 Trophy, specifically. I really need some concrete help with locating some, please. Mos t of the companies are discontinued or out of business. Thanks

I don't see a 1200 Trophy listed. Are you telling me I need to contact Trident and tell them ? Sorry, but I have visited their site, and cannot find my model listed. It's not an early Trophy, 2002 was very close to the end of production.

You were not kidding! I had a virus that was messing with my computer, and now that that's ironed out, evrything went smooth with the ordering of the carbons! Do you own a pair of these? How do they work for you?

I live in Omaha Nebraska, we have Breeze Cycle here, and the famous Baxter Cycle in Marne, Iowa, 60 miles away. I bought an Azure blue 2002 Trophy two years ago, and it's got 33,800 miles on it. I bought it with 28000 on the clock. Didn't really scare me, I figured it would last a long time being a road-bike and all. I ordered round w/ carbon and removable baffles. I figured it was close to stock, as far as shape, and the carbon was to give it a little bling! It's a good running bike with a few problems, tank float, gauge tray has a broken mount, and the tach is sticky, but I'm gonna start addressing these things as soon as I can get it to service. Don't need the tach, I go 150 mile between fill-ups, and a zip-tie is holding the gauges. I was thinking of selling it, but it's a really cool bike, loaded with Triumph option, all except heated grips. Not really interested in them.

Just turned 51,000 on the clock on the return trip from Missoula,MT last weekend.Have never had a mechanical problem yet.My Trophy has always had a stablemate,or the miles would be way higher by now.Mainly use it for trips or if the wife wants to go for a ride. What do you mean by gauge tray?If it's what I think you mean,I took mine off when I installed the Gen-Mar handlebar risers and have no use for it.It's been hanging on a nail for the last few years.Let me know.

The gauge tray (as I call it) is the plastic that surounds the gauges when you look down on them. There's a mount with a long screw on each side underneath ( there may be more). I have not removed the top fairing to inspect closely, but it seems the screw has snapped. It's the one that attaches the left side to the rest of the bike. It causes the whole assembly to jitter and swing out of place when I ride. My riding buddy put a zip-tie around it to hold it. Impressive, because he did it w/o looking, like Zen mechanics! I had to put a piece of spongy rubber between the speedo and the fairing on the left side, on top, to stop it from rotating downward with gravity. As far as I know the bike hasn't been dropped, or nobody's talking, Ha!
I wish I could afford a run-around bike, but my wife is fully disabled with MS, and even though she can still walk, the darn disease is incurable, and progressive. It's really hard for us. The bike is a way for me to escape, and to get my head straight. I can go out and appreciate what's left of my world. Just to appreciate nature, and the machine. I'm all about the machine. I'm an electrician, by the way. And, I'm recovering from knee surgery, so I have time to write all this!LOL! I won't be touring, but I still like to go out for a day.
