Review Triumph Trophy / BMW R1250RT

I have been reading the review of the German Motorrad regarding the test Triumph Trophy / BMW r 1250 rt and guess what: The Trophy won!

This was the result https://twitter.com/woltersw/status/...713472/photo/1

1250? Are you sure it is a 1250 they tested? I was not aware they had upgraded the displacement from 1200 to 1250.

Either way; I'm not surpised the Triumph came out on top. BMW has really gone down hill since 2002. So much so, that I will not buy one newer than 2001. Now have my sights squarely on a new Trophy in spring of 2014 after they have proven themselves to writers and riders.

---> seems like a good way to deal with this.

the way things are changing these days, it would not have suprised me to see a 1250 from BMW about now. They usually make some significant changes every 6 or 7 years and it has been 7 years since they introduced the 1200s. I just haven't kept up with them the past couple of years due to their steadily declining quality control.

I believe it, the Trophy by most account units so far has been well received.

There is a new water cooled flat twin due shortly. Probably spring 2013. BMW are speaking about it openly in Germany.
