I hear ya on the seat width issue; I built my own seat for the R1200C and 1100RT. Of course I didn't get it right on the first attempt. After a few errant shots though I had them both just about perfect for me.

As for traveling across the big pond to get fitted for a bike; that may be a wee bit out of my budget. I can pay for a whole lot mods here or do them myself and spend less than the cost of the plane fare and shipping. Thanks for the offer though.

"If you have any pictures of roads or bikes you'd like to share then we'd be happy to publish them - give you credit for copyright but no location etc."

Have you seen a website called Twistypedia.com? It's set up so anyone can share favorite roads with the world. I made my first submission to it last year and plan more this year. It is called Dalhart to DFW, it doesn't have to be boring. I suspect they would welcome input from you on your many test rides. My initial submission didn't quite fit their criteria but after I wrote to the administrator, he liked my thoughts and said post away.

I ordered mine today here in Houston. It'll be a looong wait until March or so when it arrives!

Silver, with the top box and heated seats and grips. (It'll be going up north with us this summer.)

I think the blue is pretty cool, but Mrs. Ohm says the silver will match her jacket! :-)

ah, that's the color that has my attention for now. I have a red R80, an opal blue RT and a two-tone blue cruiser. It's time for something different. I hear the silver ones will be the fastest color.

Now that I have the Bonnie, I'm considering trading in my 08 Hammer for the Trophy!
