Cool Comments on the official announcement of the New Trophy

I just received an email from Triumph officially announcing the introduction of the new Trophy!
There are Motorcycle Magazine and Blog stories on the details of it now. There're lots of pix and descriptions. Apparently the news has been out for a little while.
So I rushed to this site for the feedback of excited Triumph fans...
Where is everybody?

I am wondering if it will have the same electrical out put as the Explorer. I would think so but you never know. As I will be putting a GPS on and Aux lights up front. Seeing how it has heated grips and seat they do draw alot of power

My enthusiasm has dimmed after reading that the weight is 662 lbs. In reality it will be heavier than that. Quite a bit more than an R1200RT.

Might come off a GL1800 for this bike.

Yep she is a tad portly however still lighter then say the ST1300 by quite a bit. This segment of bikes isn't about weight in my opinion, none of them are light. If you want a lighter bike there are other options. Its all about how it will handle, you can hide the weight once in motion, its the moving it around the garage that can be a bear.

Personally I like the looks but I like the looks of the RT and they could be siblings. However the triple is the clincher for me if it runs like all the recent trips.......I'm not in the market either as of now for a bike this big but if I was it would be on the short list. For now my F800S does everything I need it to. Perfect for running around town and can go on the occasionally long distance run as well.......
