This years Triumphs In Taos was again a great event!!! We had 60+ attendees from all over the country attend. There were some first timers that came but the majority in attendance were returning attendees. The weather this year was the best ever!!!
I want to thank the Kachina Lodge for putting up with us again for another year. They do a wonderful job of accommodating our requests and allowing us to sit around the Kachina Fire Pit every night to socialize is certainly appreciated by everyone. For some reason they really enjoy us coming every year...hahaha
I also want to thank all of our sponsors who helped make this fantastic event. We had some awesome door prizes again this year and I want to thank them for their support and generosity.
Thank you to all the people that came this year...you are the reason Triumphs In Taos is a fun event!!!
Took a longer way home at a relaxed pace to enjoy the scenery. We didn't get in until about 7PM. I had to hit the ground running this AM, but will go through some photos as soon as I have the chance!
We had some great sponsors this year and I think pretty much everyone came away with something from the dinner door prize drawings.
I would like to thank all of the vendors who contributed to make this years event another success!
I had no idea when I created this post hours ago that I would be limited to 10 images per post. Hence multiple posts. Start with page one, it will follow better.
Left Austin for the two day ride to Taos NM. I was a warm 86° and getting warmer.
Passing through Sweetwater TX I notice wind turbines, I mean by the hundreds, never saw so many are far as the eye could see in all directions.
My wife can't ride on the back of the bike this long so she followed me in the car. It had it's advantages especially when it got into to 90's. Gota love that girl!
Left Muleshoe TX in the cool morning air of 76°
It felt like the road went on forever towards NM, straight, boring, at 75 MPH. Very little traffic with no one tailgating
and on...
and on...
Scenery didn't change until I turned north toward Las Vegas NM.
Even caught a few rain drops headed into the mountains
In the mountains the temperature dropped 30° very nice riding
Sean, a year or so ago maybe 3 or 4. I made a comment about there only being 20 or so triumph riders in Colorado. After spending 10 days riding there this year and your Taos pictures have shown me how wrong I was.
