And the story:
This started out as a standard silver 2007 Bonneville but has been reworked to look like it helped Steve McQueen jump that fence back in the day.
The idea was to make the Bonni look flat, low, powerful, and a whole lot more old school. Not classic old, but rough old! Like a 60'bobber with some force and attitude. Drew a lot of inspiration from Exile cycles who make amazing looking machines, and I really like how they often use a front tire as fat as the rear. So I wanted to do something like that. And I wanted it to be a Triumph that The King Of Cool himself would nod approvingly to at an intersection before burning of leaving nothing but tire smoke and burnt rubber.
I actually build the bike for my brother- he's the finance & I'm the creative force. But as I'm studying in Australia and he's in Norway he still hasn't seen the bike in the flesh. So to prove that he is in for a treat when it reaches the Norwegian shores I wanted to try to get it voted bike of the month - and down the line get it featured in a magazine. And just maybe try to get it in a movie - think MadMax 2010
The mechanical work has been done by Deus Ex Machina, and an amazing job they did. But the look and parts are all my brother and me.

Custom paint job with old school Triumph logo on the tank and side covers
Bobbed fenders front and rear

Engine covers powdercoated black
Rims powdercoated black

Old School gum grips
Waves break disc front
Braided carbonfiber look breaklines
CRG lanesplitter bar end mirrors
And I think that's all for now...
Been thinking to swap the pipes for some Staintune peashooters, as I think thy would fit the look better, and heatwrap the pipes. So if anyone has some pipes they would consider swapping for some reverse cones then let me know.
Hope you like it as much as I do!
And PS. It handles like a champ!! That flat bar with the smaller front rim makes it turn in and out of traffic like a motard!
