Well I was enjoying this thread until it degenerated into a culture/nationality bashing. Sweat, I'm with you on this one.
Now back to tailgaiting. In my brash (and stupid) youth I did pull off a nice full face Shoei and chuck it straight back into the windshield of some Yahoo in a pickup. This led to both of us pulling over an me heading straight to the truck in what seemed to be a drug endused rage. All of a sudden Mr. Billy Bad Butt was locking his door and peeing his pants.
That was young and stupid. Today I have a licence plate bracket that has a scrolling l.e.d. that says "BACK-OFF" whenever I hit my brakes. I installed it a few months ago and wasn't sure what the reaction from crazy cagers would be. To my surprise it does get there attention. I have seen people drop back several car lengths after a couple of flashes. They even stop several feet behind me at stop lights. I was very surprised at this reaction as I thought it would be ignored or just p*ss them of more. I guess the quite and polite way of reminding them wakes them up to where they are.

I could think of something else to put on there, using only 2 different letters than you did!

hehe

I thought of that, then my older sense of wisdom thought why provoke the bonehead or be a target for some cop with no sense of humor. So far the suttle approach seems to be working well. There are a lot of nut-jobs in Tucson that are just looking for an excuse to run you over.

The good news on all of this is that we are not the only ones noticing the increase in personality defective cagers.

Many states are enacting, or considering enacting stricter laws and enforcement of "Aggresive Driving" which includes such behaviour as tailgating AND brake checking.

I see that Indiana has multiple signage warning against such psychotic behaviour, and Wisconsin has signage imploring Drivers to "Watch for Motorcyclists".

Hey, it's something.
