I am considering getting a tank bag for my T100, and was wondering what tankbags fit well on Bonneville tank. Any one using the Triumph bag? I haven't seen it in person, so i am reluctant to purchase it sight unseen. It seems to be the right size for my needs though. Any and all input appreciated. Am new to this forum so I hope I am posting in the proper place. Thanks all...

I've got one of the smallest Cortech bags and it works pretty well. (You can even get to the gas cap with it on) It's not a perfect fit, as it seems to be made for something with a wider tank, but I've never had any problem with it slipping.

Triumph's Bonnie tank bag is a nice piece. It's a strap-on, not magnetic, which makes it a bit less convenient, but the straps can be removed in just a few minutes. My son has one on his '05 Bonnie Black.

For what it's worth, there's a slightly used Bonnie tank bag in the Classifieds Section - not sure if it's still available, but for 90 bucks it might be worth checking it out.

I had the Triumph tank bag on my T100. I didn't like the way the attachment pad covered up the 2 tone paint on the gas tank. I also missed having a useable external pocket outside of the main bag compartment. Technically, it does have external pockets, but they might hold a ID card and not much else.

On the plus side, it is a large bag, it is expandable, and it has a decent map pocket.

I currently use a Cortech Super 14 liter magnetic tank bag. The map pocket is too small. Other than that, it is just about perfect for daily riding.

For all out touring, the Triumph bag has more capacity, but I think there are other aftermarket bags with better features for less money. If you can grab a good used one though, it would make a OK touring bag.

I purchased a Joe Rocket magnetic bag and it works just fine. It has two outside pockets on each side and a mesh pocket on the front. I don't know what model it is as I bought it used.IMG_3058.jpg

I'm using a Rapid Transit Recon 19 bag. Its magnetic, which makes me nervous as for scratches but so far so good. The map pocket viewing area is fair, kinda small. Its a nice size bag otherwise, it'll carry tooth brush and paste, a clean t-shirt, sox, deodorant and a couple pairs of underwear, your MP3, a book perhaps, i.e. no need for regular luggage for a weekender. The bag holds nice but I do have the Roadster screen on my T100 so I don't know how it would do without a windscreen.

I have the 68 tank bank which is I have to admit the biggest POS I've ever bought. I used it once and it's been sitting in a box ever since. Looked good in the photo though....

I also have the Triumph tank bag, and I am happy with it. It is the appropriate size for my needs (I often carry a rain-suit, camera, some snacks), and it can expand. Several good features have already been mentioned, but it also has a rain-cover.

Some folk do not like the strap-on harness for the tank. As it only takes a minute or two to attach, it does not bother me.

I have the Cortech Mini-bag on my '07 Bonnie. Works just great, magnetic, and doesn't block the fuel fill cap.

Nice heavy duty construction, and you can fit a surpising amount of "stuff" in there.

Triumph logo products are way too pricey to me? I like to see real value for my $$$. It's as if they took classes from Harley Davidson on how to place your logo on products and double/triple the price.
