Insurance

I just wanted to share this.

My new T100 will be the third bike I have on my insurance policy. It's an online policy and easy to add or remove bikes. So I went through all the rigmarole of adding it for the rest of the term of the policy - about 6 months.

Total additional premium...............

£0

Yes. £0.

Result!

Got a link for your insurers? Sounds like a good policy

Here in Ireland we don't have the competition of other countries, so I phoned my current insurers and was quoted €610 fully comp on a Bonnie (full licence + 5 years no claims, secure garaged, etc.) - new company just starting over here - Adelaide Insurance, so gave them a shout and they quoted €435!

You don't get speeding tickets.
Do you.
It is a statement.
Not a question.
Enough said.

Of course I don't get speeding tickets.

Over here in the good ole Uk it's sooooooooooooo rare to see a cop, let alone one with a radar gun, the chances of getting a speeding ticket are very remote. You soon get to learn where all the fixed cameras are, so it's a doddle avoiding them.

And I'm hardly going to get done for speding on a Bonnie am I?

Seriously, I cannot remember the last time I saw a copper with a radar gun. It must be years ago. We just don't get them round here. Cop car on patrol? Again, not in years. All we get is fixed cameras - everywhere. What a great contribution to road safety.

I must confess, had I not got a Thatcham Gold standard lock and chain to put on the bike, by premium would have increased by £10.

Maybe I'm just old.......................

You can't have ridden on some of the more popular motorcycle routes around East Anglia at the weekend
