Classic looking open face helmet
Hi folks,

I am looking for a classic styled open faced helmet. So far all the helmets I've tried on at the local shops make me look like Dark Helmet from Spaceballs. I need a sleek helmet that looks kinda old school.

Any ideas will be appreciated.

Here is a reference photo of what I'm trying to avoid.

Thanks

I like the looks of that Nolan alot. I'm accustomed to wearing goggles (WileyX). Can you remove the face shield completely without leaving an ugly hole on the side.

I ask because I have found that half or 3/4 helmets with face shields still blow too much wind in my eyes.

Yes, you can remove the visor and then re-clip the fastening plate back on the helmut, no ugly hole.

That I don't know for sure, as I don't have goggles.
I don't see why not.

There is no goggle clip on the back or anything.

The only thing to remember is that from the front and back, the Nolan logo is fairly prominent, and the center colour takes up about 1/3 of what you see.

Given the interest, shall I post photos?

Absolutely, please post some pics.

I think I might be sold knowing that you can re-clip the visor thingy back on without the visor.
