I don`t have ANY fenders on my bike and rode in the rain last weekend. The bike is as expected, filthy. No water came off the front tire, just the rain and spray from vehicles around me.I only noticed the lack of the rear fender because a pool of water formed on the back of my short bobber seat. With any other full sized seat,it would have been a non issue. As Erik stated, you are gonna get wet, regardless of your fender choice. Now,oil, road tar and other crud are a totally different story.

Thanks all,
Yeah its unavoidable getting wet when riding in the rain, I just wanted to avoid things like e.g. the front wheel sending a constant spray of water and crud up into the oil cooler and engine area.

I think I'll go for a similar front fender bob as Revolt, and possibly getting one of those Mototwin rear fenders: (If I can't find a used one from a thrux)
