Evel Knievel Replica
While doing some legitimate work, testing a video search engine, I came across this MCN video showing off a Scrambler that Jack Lilley built to commemorate Evel Knievel.

Triumph Bonneville Evel Knievel replica

Cheers!

Is it just me or do the Scrams with a 270 crank have a distinctive bark compared to the 360 crank of the regular Bonnies?

hey, anything that's a tribute to my childhood hero is alright in my book

I have fond memories of my Evil Knievel banana seat and jumpsuit.

The first Scrams had 270-degree cranks, but now they are all 360. The difference in sound probably has more to do with the different exhaust.

Very realistic too, the arms and legs of my Evel Knievel broke [the wire in his little rubber body couldn't take the beating] and Evel couldn't stay on his bike anymore!

I remember that too. I also remember a few scraped knuckles from winding it up really fast. It had to make that 5 foot span. Or not! Even with the toy it was more fun if it didn't make the jump.

When I still had the 1150 RT, a guy was fool enough to let me ride his Scrambler...did some acrobatics while he cringed, then idled it across a paved parking lot...after the whiplash headache abated I went right down and traded the BMW for a T100...the Scrambler styling and 450 lbs. sucked me right in...but the 360 brought it home to when the world was younger

I don't know about bark...I do know something about bite tho.
