That's a nice video Scratch. I really like the way all that foliage hangs over the road. Is that normal in your neck of the woods? If it is, then is it done for a particular purpose (block out the warm sun, or something)?

It looks like you have some nice roads. Next time, maybe you can give us a video of the off-road trips you often do.

Greetings,
Thor

Thanks Thor
The foliage over the road is a result of rampant tropical vegetation, & is not there on purpose.
In fact the transport dept spend a lot of money, during the Dry Deason, keeping it trimmed.
But they're too busy clearing fallen trees off the roads, to do much about it in the Wet, & that's when the growth really takes off.
It's almost a total canopy by the end of the Wet (May)

I'm waiting for the rain to clear for a few days. So the Sun can dry out Black Mountain Rd enough for me to get to the Quaide Rd (A privately owned abandoned Hwy in the jungle). Where I can open up the Scrambler for all to hear, without fear of the legal consequences (Qld rd rules don't apply there). As I've no intention of posting illegal activities under this handle (I've posted my rego no here too many times)
I'll be heading out west into Scrambler Heaven soon (not as wet out that way now) But I've still a few teething problems to sort out. first

I wasn't happy with the camera on the master cylinder.
It had far too much vibration, & the picture had really bad deff.
I'm also having problems keeping the plug in the recording unit, & it's only got to come loose by a mm to lose the picture
I think this may be a fault (has anybody else encountered this) & if it keeps happening, I'll be emailing motocom pretty soon, to get them to remedy it

My god man, you're on the wrong side of the road. I guess it goes to show, you drive a Triumph, it brings out the hooligan in you.

I've edited out the worst glitches of todays run. & I'm posting the rest, so I can get some constructive tips, on what I can be doing to make it better.

BTW Well done to the Giants.
What a great game!
Kept me on the edge of my seat until the very end (& I only had a rudimentary idea of what was happening)
I couldn't get a bet on, as betting shops are shut over here, at that time on a Monday morning (& I don't like online betting).
So I didn't win any money (& it would have been a bit too)
But I ain't gonna let that spoil the party
I bet it's goin off in Times Square right now
Party on everyone!

Scratch: Is it hard to concentrate on your filming when you have to ride on the wrong side of the road like that?

Anyway, I think you are doing a great job with the video, seriously.............

I'd love to, but it looks like there might be a long break between clips.

I've just taken the recording unit around to a few electronic repair shops, to get the dodgy jack looked at, & nobody wanted to touch it.
They all said that it's probably got some unique set up in there, & I should just send it back, as it's obviously faulty.
So that's what I'm going to do.

Unfortunately that probably means that I'm not going to be able to do any more shooting for a few weeks.

Oh well, the 904 kit will be in by then.
So the bike should sound even more awesome.

Can't really say I'm happy about it all though

Excellent video, two thumbs up, after having had a wee bit of Paddy Irish whiskey, I couldn't quite decipher your commentary, however I must say that your exhaust pipes sound excellent, in fact your bike sounds awesome. Enjoy the rides.
