I was totally out of imagination when I registred for the site, so I just chose my initials and ride. Also my first name (Thor) can give foreigners "odd" assosiations (80's heavy-metal groups and such).

Mine is because I have raised 3 generations of Saint Bernards and they are my favorite breed of dog.

Greg - I knew you are Mr. Big Hat, I knew that the bottle fed was for the Nitrous but I assumed that the fed part might have been for FED but than you probably would have capitalized fed.

Simple code: mecscc = Monte Eugene Canfield Susan Carol Canfield
Besides, at my age one needs something easy to remember.

Monte - I often wondered what that stood for. Honestly, I even Googled it about 6 months ago to see if it was like an abbreviation for a Holy Man! I came up with Zero hits. Thx - I can now check-off one more thing on my "I Wonder List".

Isn't a Wombat also a nasty little creature?

I've been thinking of asking Shawn to get rid of the "001," which is possible, but he's got enough on his hands and I don't want to bother him with it.

I figured you for Mr. Natural's brother Mr. Mellow

OK fellas - as many of you already know, my original handle was HedgeFundGeek. This is because I work for a Hedge Fund in Greenwich CT. The Geek part is because I run the Information Technology Department as their Systems Administrator / Network Administrator / Avaya Guru; so I'm an IT GEEK thus forming the last part. Over time people would refer to me as Hedge, HFG, Geek, Geekster, AHole, and a few others so I asked Shawn, probably at a good time for him, if he wouldn't mind shortening my handle to simply Hedge which would now stand for what I try to do most and that is Hedge all my bets in life!
That's my story, and that's the story I'm stickin' to!

I simply couldn't be bothered correcting people who called me Richard or Ricky despite my being registered and christened Richie. My friends had always got around the problem by calling me by my surname, Phillips, which got shortened to Phil.
So, to avoid any embarrassment, tedious explanation, etc, and largely bereft of any imagination on my part to come up with anything cryptic or vaguely clever, it's "just phil" and I like it that way.

No imagination?
All of you riders who are saying you have no imagination - Ha!
My handle is walt, because my name is......Walt.
That's no imagination. But it makes it very easy to log in at home.
At work it doesn't matter because I put my name and password in barcode format and taped it to my wall in my office. When I log in at work I grab my scanner - it goes "beep beep" and I'm in.
That's lazy.
