My name is a nod to our greatest living musician, Tom Waits, and may favorite album of his.
As for the Don Rickles avatar, I don't know, I just find it amusing.

Name

I am a life long sailor and the anchorbend is knot. I put miles on my bike by riding it to my sailboat , about 70 miles each way on back country Kansas roads. Doesn't get any better than that unless I lived on the coast and there was no winter. Two summers and about 16K miles. Right now I'm going nuts with zero degrees.

The Clutch..besides a neutral gear position the rider has another means of disengaging the drive - the clutch
I just like what the clutchplate does..disengaged or engaged..bit like my brain some days....

My first motorcycle was a 1950 Triumph 6T sprung hub combo and it was only 21 yrs old when I got it. The lower case "t" is because I am a lousy typer and I didn't press the "shift" key. I guess I could have used the name of my first girl friend 'cos you never forget that either.
I wonder what Jane(or was it Sue?, or was it Mary?) is doing now.

Ham'r is short form, (although spelled incorrectly) for my home town Hamilton aka The Hammer.

The avatar is from Black Sabbath...best f$@&^% band out there.

I am a photojournalist/photo director.
In Latin, lux means light and amor means love.
I love light.

On my frist trip to the UK I saw the sign and figured out it was a speed bump. Seemed unique.
