Sharing my Bonnie and some West Aussie weather
I know ride time is severely curtailled for many of you so I thought I
would share a couple of images of my weekend ride to Margaret River, South West of Western Australia.
If you like wine you may have heard of or even sampled some of the vintage from this area.
The weather was a windless 32 degrees Celcius.

The river running to the ocean. Margaret River hosts one of the premier surfing tournaments.

The vines at Xanadu Winery

Otherwise, stunning scenery.

No the winery is named with reference to the words of Samuel Taylor Coleridge as the home of the Kubla Khan.

Its a great part of the world. Thanks for the photos smac, I must try to get down there before the end of summer

+1 dfbike

Created in the early 1990’s, the Xanadu Dragon was designed to encompass the mythical element associated with the Kubla Khan poem, whilst combining the Chinese symbolism of the essence of nature, manifested in the elements of earth, wind, fire and water.

Tastes good too.

A beautiful bike in a beautiful setting, always floats my boat. So thanks for sharing.
I haven't been to Margaret River since the early 80's, & I'm glad to see it hasn't changed at all.
Keep riding, & keep posting the pics

You will love the visit, and yes bikes for hire. I can advise some short and long rides for you.

Travelling to Perth is a bit like travelling overseas with the distances involved, but well worth the effort.

Scratch, we ride in diametrically opposed regions of our great land. I have seen many of your pics and couldn't wait to add some more for our foreign friends to ogle.
BTW I was posted in Townsville during my military service 1981.

Ogle is right!! Great shots.
Can't say we are having very bad weather in the midwest US, but itches to ride are are getting stronger. Looking forward to a long trip to Oz & NZ.
Cheers
