Links
Not really sure how to submit a link out of member album. Undoubtedly ,there must be a limit. Can you bring up your whole photo album in a link? or just a picture. Never was to sure how to submit links from this site or any.

Thanks Road_Dog, I was going to reply to one of your posts earlier about your canine.( So many did that I didn't but now that I have a chance) I'm sorry. It is not an easy thing,I know. Become attached to the critters just like another family member, well in fact they are. I put my Lab down 15 years ago, bought a Black& tan shorthaired Chihuahua(Spock),now I'm about in the same place as I was then as he(15) is showing signs....I won't get into it. How did you set up that link. I looked in FAQ however a little hesitant. Would like to know though. I don't know everything I should know about these P.C.'s.[Is it in contribute] [Web Link] ?

Thanks, RD. That's what I meant by "link."

Nice pics, SB! Tell us about the Kaw. I am a closet KZ fan and had one for a LONG time, had several really, but my love for some years was a KZ650..............

Well.......It's a long story, I'll compile it. Back in 90' I happened by this riding lawnmower that I really didn't need but the price was a steal, the brakes needed fixed that's it, otherwise like new. My 1st cousin , who I grew up with , kind of like a Brother to me had this bike.(KZ550-C1) It was sitting out in the elements with sort of what was left of a cover. I told him About the lawnmower since he had purchased an acre and only a push mower, So we traded. In his mind it had too many repairs. It sat in my garage , I kid you not , til 2000. I started by the wheels taking them apart Axle to axle , grease , new tires ,bearings,etc.02' Rebuilt the carbs(4 cyl.) 05' used to be 4 into 2, replaced with 4 into 1. Gas turned into varnish in tank and both carbs way before I got it. I cleaned them with flashpoint solvent, had to get artists knife, pointier than a scalpel and clean out the inside of the carbs in lots of places along with bread wrapper ties pull the paper off and thier the right size to clean out carbs..o6' painted bike and cleaned out tank. Went over everything electrical ,said he kept on blowing 20 Amp fuses. Found it . He crushed some of the wiring from the throttle side ( bars) Shorting out when it got warm.New Battery, plugs, etc. Started it up for the first time in probably a good 20 years. It seeped a little fresh oil out of the DOHC gaskets and on the heads (gasket)a little . Torqued them down a little. Started it up now and again , It took. It sealed. Lost my cousin to Cirrhosis of the liver in 06'. that drove me to finish. Keeping the bike as a memory since he lost all , job, wife , house, life. Saw it coming. Can lead a horse to water but can't make him drink. Speedometer cable broke in front tire junction. need to fix. 53 H.P.@ 8500 RPM /Torque 34.7 (lbf-ft)@7000 Transistorized Ignition. Red line at 9500 RPM 7000 Actual Mi.

Thanks speedblastr. Pets really do become a family member, like you said. Especially being the dog lover I am. Like I explained in the thread, my other dog Nikki is not too far away from the same fate. She's lost a lot of her hearing and bladder control already. However she's in no pain and I'm extremely hopeful the decision to put her down never comes. I'd much prefer she go naturally. We had to put her predecessor down, a loving Sheltie named Smokey, many years ago and can recall that as being one of the worst times in our lives. I wish the best to you and Spock.

Anyway, to do the link thing you need to open a window to the page you want linked. Then cut and past the page address in the following format...

[ url=web page address to be linked goes here]text to be displayed goes here... ie "click"[/url ]

Omit the space after the first bracket and before the last bracket... I put spaces so the string wouldn't act like an actual url hyper link. Here is where link usage is explaned... click. Under the sub-title "URL Hyperlinking".
