Heres another hot tip, tho i'm not sure how the paint color affects it. go to a big lots and find some "Long Haul truck gloss". Man, i'm telling you, this is the cheapest quick detailer i've ever tried and by far the best. like i said, maybe it only works so amazingly on certain colors because on my bike's blue it makes little difference. On the black it works great. But on my honda accord's graphite color i'm 100% blown away. I kid you not, the gloss it gave my car is well above any product of any kind i have ever tried including sealer glaze, tho it doesn't hide the swirls like S/G of course. but the shine is insane, and this is after 40 years of vehicle ownership and trying hundreds of products. and while quick detailer isn't supposed to jhave any longevity, after a week the thing still glows and the dust that attaches itself to the paint a few days after any other treatment has not done so. It just wipes right off with a dry cloth and leaves no trace.
the bummer is that the company is now gone, and once stocks of this stuff are gone it's gone for good. I bought 3 more bottlles at big lots (all they had) and i'm going to some other ones to try and find more. Most detailer is around $6-10 for about 16 oz. This stuff is $3 for 28 oz ! definatly the best care care stuff of any kind i've ever found. Now all i do to the paint on my bike and car is mothers S/G, then long haul. The look is honestly so far superior gloss-wise to anything i've ever used i'm floored. But i really do thik it's very dependant on the paint color as to how good it works because while it works as good or better than any QD on my bike's blue and black paint, it's not even close to what it does to my accord's color. I would say any dark METALLIC color will probably benefit the same.
