Well, I've gone and done it now. There's a 2007 Bonne Black sitting out there in the garage probably feeling outnumbered by the Harley's. Picked it up Saturday morning in Dayton(on a trailer unfortunately.) Was in the teens with about a 20 mph wind when I got home but I couldn't resist just a short ride. Like to froze! Didn't realize these bikes were so cold blooded either. Some of the posts suggest removing the AI helps, which I plan on doing right away. I'll wait till after first service to change pipes, jetting, air filters, etc. Let the games begin....

I believe this is a good excuse to put a bike on a trailer. You get a pass.
Congrats on the bike. I've always thought Triumph and Harley go very well together.

Thanks for the pass. Forgot to mention that was a 75 mile trip home!

Congrats! They are a little cold blooded. Let the carb heaters do their job and mine cranks and starts with no problems. By the time you get your gear all set she should be off choke and ready to go. You will love the fun factor and how easy to work on and mod the Bonnies are. Excellent compliment to your stable of HD's.
You have some great folks in your area that are regular posters here. They put on some great rides. Enjoy your new baby.

Congatulations.....What a spring you'll have. Ride on over to NE Ohio and visit a "Packless RAT"

Thanks, Bob. I've been on some great rides in your state too. In July of '05 we stayed at The Chalet in Maggie Valley for four days and rode the Blue Ridge Parkway and alot of other great roads in the area. Really enjoyed a loop we made through Brevard,Cashiers, and Highlands. In my opinion, we rode some places that were as much fun as The Dragon with much less traffic.

+1 on the Dragon. It is fun to go there, but the region offers great roads as good or better that also make beautiful loops through the neighboring states. One of the things I enjoy so much about riding around here is meeting so many folks from other states.
Take care.

Congrats on the purchase, and I agree that pics are needed! Let us know how you like the Bonnie compared to the HD's.

As an owner of both Triumph And Harley machines let me say they get along well together. In fact some mornings when I go out to the garage they are next to each other and there are cigarrette ashes on the floor.....
