there is a reasonable price difference betweenthe 68 seat and the thruxton gel seat. They look identical and they're both gel seats. Is there any difference between them? If not why even buy the 68 seat? I know the thruxton gel seat only comes in black and that the 68 seat has more options in that department, but I'm looking at the all black one anyway. I assume a thruxton seat will fit a regular bonnie?

All Bonnie seats are interchangeable,even the Scrambler solo.

68 v. Thrux ..... same seat - and yes, it fits a Bonnie. All the moderns have the same frame.

so triumph is just trying to pull a fast one? Making people think their "contemporary" seat is better than the thruxton gel seat just because it's newer and has the little 68 logo stiched in somewhere. That's stupid. They also try and pull that with the 69 shorty fenders. They are more expensive than the replacement fenders for the thruxton but are actually the same thing.
