Look at this brand new Bonneville with side car that's for sale in New England, now that's something you don't see everyday! I think it's pretty cool!

Can't let the wife see those pix, she'd have me riding our beagle around town wearing a set of pilot goggles and a red scarf.
Otherwise, thats pretty kick arse!

Personally I think the Motorvation Spyder is the best looking rig to hook up to a Bonnie... But I'm a bit biased...
Check the member photo album for SCbonneville...

Gosh, that Velorex looks very nice on the Bonnie Black. It's not terribly expensive, either. The Model 562 (which is pictured) retails for around $2,800... website here

Have any of you folks ridden sidehacks? I'd love to hear your thoughts, experiences about how a single track biker adapts to these somewhat different machines.

I have no personal exprience with sidecars but I understand they are a totally different riding experience from 2 wheelers. Can be very dangerous and require totally different technique to get down the road successfuly. Good luck and have fun!

One of "our own, Chrisitian Neuhauser, a very experienced rider and editor of RoadRunner magazine, died last year while test driving a sidehack. He is missed, but his wife is carrying on with the magazine quite aptly.
And here's a link to newspaper story with details.
Link to RoadRUNNER magazine., well worth subscribing to.

I met Christian at the RoadRUNNER booth at the Cleveland Motorcycle Show shortly before his fatal sidehack accident. To say he was a class act would be an understatement. His publication gloried in the highways and byways of his adopted country in general, and North Carolina in particular. I am glad to hear his wife is carrying on the tradition. I need to renew my subscription.

Here's a chopped BSA with a side hack from the seventies.
That side hack was held on with hose clamps. Believe it or not!

What has happened to the world...Back in the 60's, you could run crappy bikes with long, crazy fork angles, sidecars held on with pipe clamps, no helmets, riding drunk and stoned....
Now, if you dao any or all of that, its instant death! :-D  :-D
