anyone tried or seen the tourmaster nylon slant bags?
Bags

For my use like the idea of the carry handle along with the zip off bag.

Also what size bags are most using in the Tourmaster series

I don't use those exact bags, but I do use these bags. I like them but the rain covers want to keep flying off (I've already lost one).

I have the TourMaster Cortech large saddlebags and tail bag. Rain covers are fine, but everything inside the bags goes into 2 1/2 gallon ziplock bags.

I recently got the same Cortech sport saddlebag that JREAGAN is using and I have to say that I've been pleasantly surprised at how well they work/look. It's well made and very easy to use on my Bonneville.

I don't even tie the bags down with clips. I just sling them over my seat and never had any worries about it slipping off. It's got a neoprene back that pretty much tacks on to the leather seat and won't move around.

I bought these because I didn't want to install the chrome brackets on my bike (I just didn't like they way they looked when the bags are off). And, they look pretty nice on the Bonnie!

I have the Tourmaster large bags.
Dont have them on unless really needed.
They are good bags.
I always ride with a Tourmaster roll bag.
It has quite a bit of storage.

I have the Tourmaster/Cortech Sport Tailbag....here Newenough Tailbag

It fits nicely on the Scrambler. Has plenty of storage, a raincover, and a shoulder strap.

Add another vote for the Cortech sport saddlebags plus tailbag. Both jreagan and Trump sum it up in their posts. You can find bigger bags, but these can't be beat for an easy-on easy-off option that both fit the Bonnie perfect and (I think) look great. I also like the fact that I didn't have to add any saddlebag mounts. They ride high enough to just lean against the top of the shocks and stay plenty far away from the wheels.

Hey RT,

I like those same bags, I wonder if anyone knows if the mounting yoke would fit under the seat. Since you can zip them off and on, you might as well leave the mounting yoke on under the seat. Any thoughts out there on mounting the yoke under the seat? Or do most just throw the yokes over the saddle? Any additonal help and suggentions greatly appreciated. Thanks.
