Greetings from the American Southwest!

We've made it from Cleveland, OH to Las Vegas New Mexico (approx 1800 miles so far) on the two Bonnies. These Brit Machines are real bikes! Ran thru one day of 100 degree + yesterday, and decided to swing north a little sooner than originally planned, to get back into the cool 80's. We've been running mostly any roads other than Interstate whenever possible. Typically running 65-70mph, somewhere around 4000rpm. NIce runners at that speed. Windy as h*** thru Kansas, but typical bumping around encountered on any trip out here. Finally got out of the heat of northern New Mexico into the foothills of the Rockies.

I may have to add a smidge of oil, but am only down to the center of the sightglass. Later today, maybe tomorrow. Biggest potential problem is wearing out my back tire before returning to Sweet Home Ohio.

Headed toward Four Corners area today, then either into Northern AZ, or into Colorado, then into Canyonlands area of Utah for some exploration of the best of Utah.

Back within the next few weeks.

Oh, the things we do to ourselves in retirement!

Regards,

Bob & Tom (Ohiorider and Grebmrof)

whatever you do ....do not miss Northern Az and the big hole.

The route thru the four corners to the big hole is an interesting one.
