in case anyone is curious,
just got the solo seat, love the slip on pipes, but a liitle dissapointed in seat, its a bit flimsy, rear is made of shiny plastic,
cleans up the look a bit but you can certainly strap 4x as much to the original in a more secure fashion. Padding seems the same
Does anyone know if one could mount a single saddlebag to the non pipe side?? It would be practical and would probably look neat. the number plates seem silly

I find my solo seat to be more comfortable than the stock one...who knows.

You could probably rig up some sort of single-sided saddle bag. I have elected to get the LH side city bag in the new '68' over-hyped, marketing collection but it is made as a single sided bag. Of course, they are not in yet and are quoting an end of May delivery time (I have found Triumph's estimates to be pretty good in the past). I'll keep everybody posted when it arrives (may even figure out how to post a picture or two

thanks for the info!! Let me know how that bag mounts. will it use brackets? for the scrambler it would be good to keep the bag out of the wheel. they are pricey though, thanks again.
