I've seen a few sets of the Triumph short slash silencers on E-bay as of late.

I would appreciate opinions from those who have them on their TBA/Speedies.

Noise level relative to other pipes?

Is it the case, as stated, that there is no re-jetting or other mods needed?

Thanking you in advance.

Golfer, my Speedy came from the dealer with the short slash pipes and it is my understanding there was some rejetting done.

In fact, the pipes on the bike at first were not stock and TOO loud for my tastes so they swapped them out for me.

I really like the look and sound of them. Manly, but not overpowering.
Hope the picture helps. Check out my album if you like.
Best wishes!

I have the shorties on my America and I like the sound. They have a good rumble that only my bikes makes compared to other motorcycle brands. I had the dealer rejet, but I also have a K and N drop in and no snorkle. I will probably upgrade to a louder set later, but so far these pipes work well for me.
