OK-company needs help to ID the correct sizes of magnetic drain plugs for Triumphs.
We have so far established that the S 3 2005-2006 and the 05-06 T100 865cc have 13mm bolt heads on the plugs-need thread and sizes sent to
www.magneticdrainplug.com-US company ready to help us with this neat and useful item. I do not want to drop my $7.50/qt oil to check the plug sizes just yet-anyone doing an oil change can get the plug sized at your local ACE hardware or whatever--They will do all the Triumph plugs if they can get the correct sizes!! Good guys!
Lets help us all out!

Hi Vel (sorry - had to say that!),
I don't have the exact thread size for you, but I've had a look on my microfiche CD and found the following info for the Bonneville, T100 and America (01 - 03 I think).

Part No. Description

T1210498 SUMP, BOLT, M14X1.5, FORGED
T3550092 SEALING WASHER

I'll be having a word with the mechanic working on my Bonnie tomorrow and I'll try to see if I can get any info on the thread size.

Canadian company does them as well cheaper than US company.
Triumph plug is 14mm x1.5mm thread pitch
Candian company part # 1002M, US company part # MP-02

Also Honda 14mm alloy drain plug washer is cheaper than Triumph drain plug washer, if you buy from a dealer, anyway it is here in Ozland, don't know about Seppoland

This company was at SEMA this year. Many people like this idea and I think they recieved an award for it. Never tried one, neat idea.
