For the last week or so I've been doing my usual obsessive-compulsive research on fly screens and windscreens for the Speedmaster.

Did you know that snappy-looking chrome-trimmed Speedmaster flyscreen is USA-made for Triumph by National Cycle?
Did you also know you can't get it directly from National or any of their distributors? I'm a liitle frosted about this. Apparently, the fork mount is somewhat different.

The standard National screen is about $125, the Triumph screen is about $170.

Just needed to vent about this.

There's a difference.... The Hinkley "Triumph" logo is stamped into the chrome/smoke flyscreen....

I used it until I put the GIVI A-700 on... Way better aerodynamics and splash protection on the freeway when it's raining...

I did end up using the mounts for attaching my turn-signals so I could get them off of the handlebar and fit the GIVI screen the way I want it.... They're very robust and will support quite a bit of weight.

I'm going to attach the chrome piece and the smoke colored flyscreen to the A-700 and call it a factory accessory!

Try this web site Kevin. Memphis Shades. My wife just bought me a Memphis Fats windshield for my Birthday. Delivered it cost { I think} $219.00. I had to modify the brackets with a scroll saw in order to fit around the badges I put on my tank. I polished them when I was done and somehow I managed to clear the Triumph light bar without touching the screen. Click here to see how I modified the brackets. I'll try to take some better pics and post them in the next few days. The screen comes right off with the turn of an Allen wrench. You can ride without or change to a different screen. I have a bad neck and this will really save me a bad headache on long trips.
