I agree!! I hauled ass all day yesterday in 35 degree cloudy skies. By the time I got home last night I was cruising through freezing sleet-enjoying every minute of it!!! Joe :-D

One of my co-workers husband bought his first Harley on Saturday. Didn't take delivery because it was raining. He has rented a U-Haul to take the bike home but says he won't trailer it if it's raining. Man I had two HDs and I didn't realize that they would rust that quickly! I asked his wife if she thought that one day they wouldn't get caught in the rain while riding. She look dumbfounded and finally said "gee I never thought of that. I'll have to tell Don.". Oh boy another fair weather HD owner. Man if it didn't rain, snow or sleet on me when riding I thought I wasn't doing it right. By the way he bought a 1999 Softail Classic with 20k miles. No I'm no super-biker by any means but a 7 year old motorcycle with 20k! I put that much, and more, on each HD within the first year. I just don't understand people buying bikes and not riding them. Man that's just plain mean to the bike.

Grumpy, Right On!! All last weekend I had a Bro with a tricked out Sportster telling me that he was going to kick my bike's ass in a drag race 1/4 miler. Went Saturday, he didn't have his bike-went Sunday, he didn't have his bike again, on a beautiful day!!! Last night it was cold and rainy-there he sat-bragging to everyone again, about how my Triumph was going to get beat, while trusty Trump sat there all alone waiting for the competition!! I told him that until I was able to smell his exhaust pipes-I wasn't interested in smelling his stale, beer bragging, breath. That shut him up!!-hopefully for good!! Another "bikerider" that never rides!! Joe
