I've asked this before but time has passed.
Is anyone running a 900cc big bore, upped cam & CR carbs?

I might have some $ coming my way & I've always thought my T100 could use a touch more power.

I'm currently running with the air box removed, tweeked carbs,Satintune cans, and a 19 tooth gear.

Thanks,
MaxH

I've heard of a 994cc bore kit as well through a guy at my dealership. If you're going to bore it, make it count.

I believe the 900, 902, or 904--whatever it's called is basically a do it your-selfer. You do have to exchange jugs or get yours bored. I have heard that the kit up around 1000 cc's requires machining on the lower cases for clearance--this would not be classified as a do it your-selfer to me.

I believe Diniqua (SP?) did a 904 kit on his Speedy if my memory is correct. I also believe he is running the CR carbs. Send him a PM.

Nope, no CR carbs, stock CVKs with Thruxton needles and 150 mains.

But I believe it's member jango, over in bonnevilleamerica.com that has the BB and the CRs. He swears by them too.
I would enjoy a ride together with him to see if there is that big a difference. I also believe he has the D&D cams installed too.

Just the 904 by itself is a major increase, after all, it's about 15% increase in cubes and the compression goes up as well. If you do it, port the heads, it's cheap and will be worth it in the long term I believe.

Pat-

Awesome and very thorough installation instructions for the Wiseco 904cc piston kit. Great photos too. Thanks for the post.
