just got this email from my dealer

Hello All, Craig just got back from the dealer meeting and we now
know for sure what Triumph has for 2006!! First and foremost the all new
Daytona 675 Triple. This bike is an all new bike from the ground up. It
has an USD fork, radial front brakes and undertail exhaust. It is
scheduled for release in March of 2006. For those that want one of the
first ones out deposits are required (Call us for details). Next we have
the Scrambler. The scrambler has the 865cc motor like the T-100, two tone
paint, high scrambler style pipes, and full dirt bike bar and knobby
tires. The Scrambler will have an MSRP of $7999. Finally the Rocket
Classic. The Classic has the same motor and the Rocket 3 however it comes
with a touring seat, two-tone paint and more touring friendly bars.
Other Changes: The Speed Triple will come in Yellow, Blue, Black and now
White!! The Bonneville comes in silver, the T100 comes in either white
and tangerine or black and red. The America comes in Silver, Black or
Mulberry red like 2005. Please call with any questions regarding
these new models!!!

"The scrambler has the 865 motor like the T-100."

Actually, the scrambler has the 865 motor like the Speedy! It is a 270 degree engine and delivers about 10 hp less than the T-100 motor. This is according to the Triumph Motorcycle book for 2006.
