Here's a pic for convict - a bonnie black with blacked out rims. I'm going in this direction instead of the red rims and whitewalls. I also added the header wrap and front fender plate to see what those would look like since I'm planning on adding them as well.

:-D You may want to do what they use to do on older bikes (30's 40's) paint an accent around the center of the rims. I did it on my 1938 (chrome rimes with red center on the rised part where the spokes are with a gold pinstrip) looks sharp. I think the blacked out rims are an improvement over the red. What would it look like with the black rims with a red center accent.

I can't say I really like the header-wrap, but man those blacked out rims and fender plate look bad azz. :upthumb:

Love the look. This is what I was talking about earlier.

I agree though...get rid of the wrap.

I'm all over this black bike, that's one good-looking motorcycle. DrMath has a good idea with the accent on the wheels. You could go with any other color, since the bike is black. I'm curious what it would look like with yellow or white? Either of those colors would stand out pretty well.

I'm curious, where do you get header wrap, and does it come in colors?

Do a search at http://www.eastwood.com for "exhaust wrap" the results show everything you need including the stainless clamps for the ends, etc. There are multiple companies that sell the stuff and there are lots of colors out there. I personally like the retro look of it a lot and plan on doing it to my bike this weekend - yes, I applied the wrap in photoshop only for now (came out looking very close to the real thing!) and the wrap does not hurt the pipes in any way, and it has the benefit of keeping the heat down a bit when sitting in traffic.

Looks good! Are you going to still keep the stock bars and mirrors?

Looks good. What about a black Napolean bar end mirror and some gaitors? Bill

Im either going whitewalls OR powdered coated black gloss rims and hub with white spokes.

the powder coating might look too 'jive' so I may opt for the whitewalls.
