has anyone ever seen as s4 customed out. I think I might have to be the first. Im gonna get an extra seat, and cover it in black with orange inserts. Then the paint gets some tribal pinstripes with a metallic orange paint job. Wheels get metallic orange powder coat.

needs to be done eh? First I need to buy a new commuter so I can start the process. Any ideas on a cheap, but fun commuter so the S4 can be taken off daily driver status?

I love the s4, but wont be able to tinker with it till I have something else to commute with. Once done, it will be the daily again!

funny you should say that Will! I thought a tt would be a good one too, but then I would probably have to make that a track bike, and... back to my dillemma. I will probably wait for the new 680 triple, but the Sprint is might fine for an extended mission. Decisions, decisions. Oh yeah, of course money is as tight as ever, so Ebay could be cool, since I see plenty o triumphs in there. Of course, the RAT classifieds are being perused regularly. Just think the s4 would be a great bike to mess with, but cant bring myself to do that to my commuter bike.

When i pay off the S4 the first thing i'm doing is giving it a custom paint job. Being that i'm a VFW I'm going to have the front fender, Air ducts, gas tank, rear hugger fender and rear tail painted in desert camo. Like we had in Desert Storm. Then I'll take everything thats shinny and replace it with black. Maybe even a stencil of "KEEP CLEAR" on the air ducts.

I think the S4 would look good with all carbon fiber bodywork and matching muffler.
