I looked at it, however I didn't like the dual lights in the rear (not DOT approved either). I also couldn't find ANYWHERE on this side of the pond that sold replacement bulbs, apparently it's some esoteric type. I dealt with a distributor in the US (who I'm assuming bought them from the canada distributor). haven't heard anything positive or negative about the Secdem. Have heard a LOT of good things about ermax for their products for different bikes. I haven't had any electrical problems whatsoever. The turn signals pull slightly less power than the stock ones and the LEDs I added are negligible.

Thanks, Alex, for such a prompt reply. Did you do any homework on the Secdem undertray when you were considering fitting one? If so, have you any comments? Have you heard anything about them quality wise? One more quick question: have you had any fusing problems with the Ermax (I've heard that undertrays can cause electrical problems). Many thanks again.

Dear Alex, Thanks again. If you lived on this side of the pond I'd buy you a beer (or any other refreshment of your choice). Just found out that the Secdem hasn't been safety approved in Spain - so going to keep with the Ermax. Rik, you might want to check out the approval situation before deciding.

Best wishes.

No problem at all lumpus. Actually reading and replying here was the highlight of my day yesterday!! I haven't ridden in about a week so this is as close as I'll get until monday. Good choice on the ermax, I think. If you have any questions on install, please feel free to let me know.

Interesting points chaps - I've learned a lot from this thread . Sounds like there are a few Q's regarding the Secdem undertray so i'd be better off with the Ermax.
Number plate lighting is no doubt gonna be a tricky sod, I like the sound of what you did Alex.
Think I might keep trying Secdem for that screen though, especially if it's removable........

fright, more info on what specifically? Most of the website info from my project is in my original message, but if you need something specific I'm sure I can dig it up for you.

Hi Alex, I've now ordered my Ermax undertray and now wait with baited breath. I'm going to use your fitting instructions and look around for the lighting bolts in the meantime. Hope all is well and you've had time to get the S4 out of the garage more. This weekend went on a RAT run here in Murcia and the S4 had no problems keeping with the Daytonas (600s and 995s) in the twisties. The more I ride the more comfortable it gets. I'm running on the Bridgestones that came with the bike at the moment but all my Daytona friends reckon I ought to change to Pirelli Diablos - any thoughts?
