datatool alarm

Hey guys,

So I bought a used S4 with the datatool alarm. I'd have to say I find it really annoying. It arms itself while putting gas in it, or cleaning it, and I have to keep hitting the button to disarm it every 2 minutes. It is also very sensitive and will often go off when a big car or truck goes by. The bike was brought over from France so I can't read the manual at all. Is there a way to disarm the alarm completely? I have a circle button which I use to arm and disarm and a square button that I don't really know what it does.

The closest dealer is pretty far from me, and I'd really hate to spend a bunch of money on this. I'd rather get mods!

Thanks for any help.

jeff

When filling up or cleaning the bike put it into ferry mode by arming the bike and then press the small button and the indicators should flash 3 times and it will disarm the motion sensor but still leave the bike imobilised.

Thanks! I just tried it. I armed the bike with the circle button and then held down the triangle button for a second. There was no flashing of the indicators, but I couldn't seem to get the alarm to go off after that, so I guess it worked.

I appreciate your help! This will make life a lot easier.

If anybody else has alarm suggestions I'd love to hear them. Thanks!
