TT 600 Run Issues

I recently dropped (Kickstand went through the pavement) my bike when idling a couple of months back. It was in storage since and I recently took it out for the season. My engine light is now on, but when I rev the motor up to 4000 RPM the engine light flickers. The motor also seems to govern at the same RPM and won't go any higher, when I release the throttle the engine cuts out.

I'm thinking the issue might be the gas that is in the tank from storage over the winter, or the amount of it (refill light on), but the bike idles just fine?

Any suggestions?

Or maybe clogged injectors? Try some injector cleaner and fresh gas and see what happens?

Yea, thats probably it considering the bike has been in storage for so long. I'll let you know how hard I bang my head when I realize that was the problem all along.

If it wasn't for doing dumb things, I would have a much thinner skull. The forehead calouses are a sign of great and hard won wisdom. Wear them with pride when you earn them!
