Ive just bought a 2000 tt600 with 18k on yesterday. It started fine first time and then it dinnt turn over I assume battery needed charging.so I bumped it off got it home and put a new battery on. ...now it starts but with difficulty it seems as though the starter is is putting a lot of load on the battery...the bike had been stood for over six months is this a common problem? cheers
I had a new battery fitted after my old one died, no problems with it.
I noticed that when I'd trickle charged the battery over winter the motion sensor on the alarm perked right up, so if have an alarm fitted check it's not draining the battery.
