TT600 project

Well I have owned this bike for about more than a few months now. I was not able to ride it because there are title issues and I was trying to figure out the best way to get it registered. The bike rode fine and though it still had a few issues the motor ran fine. Here are pictures from when I first bought it.

It didn't look as good up close, haha. I finally have broke down and decided to look for a frame, which I am still looking for a new clear or salvage frame (if you can help, please let me know) Anyways while I was saving I decided to start sanding a few parts down. Now that I was ready to work on the bike I asked a friend to take a few pictures before. They came out fairly well.

I had recently bought a rear tire, which was not mounted on the bike. The tires on the bike are pretty worn and crappy. the photographer asked me if I wanted to take any action shots and I made a spur of the moment decision to try a burnout. The road is basically dead and open enough, and I didnt care about the tire so I decided to try it. That turned out to be a horrible decision as once I dropped the clutch the rear caught right away and I was looking up into the sky. Not expecting that and being inexperienced I decided to let go of the bike. I landed on my feet and am perfectly fine physically, the same cannot be said for the bike. for going so slow it was pretty violent, landing on one side and bouncing to the other. anyways, Here are the "after" pics.

So now I have a lot more work ahead of me. Here are the parts that need to be fixed before I can ride that are apparent now:

Stator cover
stator cover gasket
left foot assembly
right foot assembly
right handlebar
clutch lever
rear tire mount and balance
different FRAME <---- big deal

I am also going to make it into a street fighter/S4. So I need to buy some bug eyes and am also going to be working on fitting a +06 subframe, tail lights, and seats.

Dump the clutch like that on just about anything and it will show you the sky. Burnouts are a little more gentle, but really hard on the clutch.

i never attempted a burnout, but can't you do a burnout by holding the frontbreak revving up and gently letting the clutch catch?

Hey, if you were gonna streetfighter it, you're halfway there. Wonder if that's what happened to this guy...
