can anyone help me find out what paint is used on the engine of a speed four? i have talked to dealers and have given framenumbers but even the dealers cannot find which paint is used. I'm guessing it's some kind of epoxy, but the exact color or brand is not traceable. (the color list of triumph has several blacks, but i don't know which one it is)

does anyone know the answer?

they don't seem to know the speed four... or any other triumph bike from 2004 or earlier. 2005 has a sprint st. but i doubt that's the same.

in 2006 they have the speed triple, which i think could have the same color. but alas, they do not have the engine color. only the tank color.
