TT600, Alternator Cover in Carbon Fiber?

Has anyone ever found the Alternator Cover for a TT600 in carbon fiber? Mine is scratched up from the previous owner and I would like to replace it with a CF one if available. Thanks!

I have found one for the Daytona 675:

http://www.store.commoto.com/product...roducts_id=855

Will it fit the TT600?

Sweet, thank you!

Are those just adhesive pieces that attach to my covers or actual replacements? It is hard to tell by their wording...

they are adhesive pieces. no one makes a cover for any triumph that is entirely carbon fiber that i know of. even those 675 pieces just attach over the stock parts. it would be nice if someone made true race covers for the TT600/S4/D600, but no one does. CFM makes a nice cover for the 675 - nice to see at least the 675 is getting a good selection for after market parts.

darn, that's kind of crappy. but they still looks nice, but way too much money for just adhesive stickers. they emailed me back already letting me know that they are just adhesive.

They are a bit more than just adhesive stickers. If you drop your bike at speed without them, the case cover will grind through quickly. If you drop your bike with them, they cushion the case cover enough to keep it from cracking on moderate impacts. If you drop your bike at speed, the case cover will grind through fairly quickly. With carbon over the case cover, the carbon will grind for a while before you get to your case cover.

Yes, I understand, but I wouldn't mind paying 200-300 for a new cover that was completely CF instead of just the adhesive patches.

If it was a carbon cover, I am not convinced it would be stiff enough. Carbon fiber is pretty flexible stuff, and you don't want your stator wobbling around in there. It is a good way to destroy the rotor. Not to mention that carbon is an excellent insulator, and the aluminum cover is a ground. So, making one of carbon would be an engineering challenge, to say the least.
