Hi guys,

been nosing around on here for a few days and thought it was time to introduce myself. I bought a 2001 TT600 a week ago and am thoughly loving it, very different to my old ZZR600 which met an untimely demise thanks to a SMDSY incident.

Noticed a lot of chat about exhausts lately had had a few questions that I couldnt find answers to. I was looking a shortening the mid-pipe and fitting a aftermarket exhaust. I know that there are a whole host of parts that will fit bit will they effect the performance of the bike, i.e need remapping?

Has anyone here shortened to mid-pipe? curious to know if that would cause any problems too. Obviously I'd buy a spare pipe and cut it about rather than destroying the standard system. Anyone know where I can find a spare pipe?
