Hi all,

Just started washing the Speed4 down and noticed a wire (with connection on the end) just dangling, not connected to anything. I took the tank off a little and could not find a suitable place to put it.

The wire is brown and yellow/red. It has a grey connector on the end. Currently sitting behind the cylinders not doing much.

Everything on the bike appears to be working fine. I also have a Meta 357T alarm that also appears to be fully working.

I've posted some photos in a MSN group here

Any ideas what it is and where it should go?

Thanks in advance

I though i remembered a string about that wire http://www.triumphrat.net/modules.ph...=7809&forum=27
If it could be pink & yellow red it is for the additional anti pollution stuff needed in USA, doesn't seem to do any harm just dangling.

Thanks Jon.

I have just had a look and I think I can see a little plastic thing for it to sit on. I had previously rules this out as it is just on a clip that holds the wiring loom in place. Can't get my fat fingers in there and it is too cold to mess about tonight. At least I know it is not important, just another unnecessary extra like the speedo and indicators

I can sleep well tonight without worrying that my S4 is falling to bits.
