To all S4 owner's. I need your help

OK now looking at the rear of my speed four it don't look right. the rear mudguard isn't inline with the rear wheel or the swinging arm. Im wondering if it's usual for it to be like this. Also my number plate is mounted wonkie which lead's me to think that the bike has always been this way (it has been crashed). I ask if you guy's could have a look at the rear of your bike's to see if it is all straight. Any picture's would be great (obviously with the number plate covered).
Many Thank's

My Speed Four, bought brand new from the dealer, has a rear end that's *not quite* lined up right. The centerline of the tail doesn't appear to be perfectly in line with the tank and bars. The mudguard doesn't look like it is perfectly in line with the rear wheel.

It looks like a bike with a tweaked rear sub frame, like from a crash. But mine's never been down, never been abused.

I'm not bothered. I bought it for it's excellent price, excellent suspension, and honestly for its wierdo factor. The alignment of the tail is the last thing a passerby is going to notice about a Speed Four.

I'm pretty certain that's the hallmark of British automotive engineering... being almost imperceptibly imperfect.

You know, the Speed Four tail contains something the TT tail doesn't - the coolant reservoir. I wonder if the small design changes made to accomodate the reservoir and hose make the rest of the off-the-shelf TT parts look not quite right?

I've chopped my plate hanger off so I've only got a pic with the hugger.

If your number plate is wonky that it's probably down to the dealer that fitted it!

It's got a Triumph hugger but as you can see from the picture it's pretty useless as where it goes over the centre of the tyre, the plastic has dropped and the clearance between it and the tyre is a little tight. Planning to replace the hugger with an aftermarket one soon.

If the angle of the pic isn't right then post a pic of yours and I'll do one from the same angle.

me and me dad have done some fiddling. we undid all the subframe bolt's and pulled the subframe over and held it in place while we did the bolt's up. it look's better now but isn't perfect. I think we have agreed that mine is also a manufacturing error. If you guy's have got the same issue's then im ok with it. mine look's straight at the moment but no idea if it will move back. thank's much guy's. At least i know my frame is not bent

Mine was the same way...an eight foot bar and one little tug, it was perfect.
